Prograis needs to find a way to get these guys in the ring. Even-though he has a belt, he still finds himself on the outside looking in. TR has Ramirez, Teofimo, and Barboza. All three are in line for Prograis' title.
More than likely they will send Barboza to fight Prograis. Prograis has to attempt to fight the other champs so the big names can't ooze out and avoid him. Puello has a title and is not a big name so he will be looking to make a good purse and Ponce/Matias fight should be happening soon for the IBF belt. All these high ranking fighters either got a shot or is getting a shot so a belt unification is very possible.

Russell is also in line for Prograis, so maybe PBC will throw him at Prograis in hopes that he can win the title. PBC would then be able to consolidate the division without having to deal with any other promoter/network.

      Prograis/Russell is a very good match-up too.

It is a duck. He didn't even go to the table before pulling out his team didn't even try to aak Prograis team to agree on a different split. Then he wants to come on insta live and say even split with 10 percent aside to a winner. Guys talking like he's the one with the belt. That whole winner should get this will never work anything can happen in a fight injury, awful scorecards etc

Ramirez definitely swerved. In the ESPN article he mentions the split and that he can't fight for free and it won't be promoted properly and he wants to be at 100% because he had a wedding.

Wasn't a fan of how he acted after the Postol fight (a fight I'm not sure he actually deserved to win). I imagine he's just listening to Top Rank and they don't fancy his chances against Rougarou. Probably wise because I think Regis punishes Ramirez.

...but Boxingfanatic75 says that's not a duck because there was no contract.

You placed a like on a comment that exposed you as biased, inconsistent and frankly, lacking understanding of the BUSINESS of boxing.

No matter why or when you choose to walk away from a fight, you CHOSE to do it, which makes it a duck.

That is a great match up. I have a feeling that they want to build Russell a bit more.
