Fighters who've shown personality changes due to CTE/brain damage

Watching some old WW fights from the late 80's and Iron Mike Tyson is a ringside commentator, and he's incredibly articulate and intelligent and his ability to analyze fights is leagues above most guys today.

Compared with current 57 y/o mike, he seems so much more "there"

Andre Dirrell. Although it's possible the kid always had a screw loose.

But it's also worth noting that Mike may be stoned out of his gourd much of the time these days. Ain't necessarily CTE - or not all of it anyways.

incredibly articulate and intelligent? Mike Tyson? I'll eat your babies Mike Tyson?

Mike can actually still break down fights well. He's never been a scholar of anything but pain though. He can be profound and thought provoking so long as he's speaking about the right subject. Anything but fighting and he's a lispy clown.

Oh, and of course Toney is the poster boy of WTF did he say?

Trust me I know, ever since I've gotten into shrooms 2 years ago, I've noticed that I'm considerably dumber.

Kind of a morbid thread, but I heard Nick Blackwell, the kid who was too tough for his own good against Chris Eubank Jr and dumb enough to jump back into sparring after a bad brain bleed, is a completely different person then what he was before the Eubank fight

The main thing I've noticed with Blackwell have been the weight gain and speech mannerisms are completely different. But I suppose that's expected when you have 2 comas
