I think a better question is whether Usyk can escape Fury's grasp when he gets close enough. Fury has the reach and decent footwork, but as soon as an opponent gets within their range Fury can lock them up.

Granted, since his transition to Kronk this has been less so, new Fury is more of a wrecking machine than the jab & grab Tyson, but the option is always there.

Usyk is too easy. Fury will prove he is the best by rematching Schwarz and Pianetta!

Thats exactly the question. The only way to beat Fury is to avoid the maul. When an opponent spends half the fight under the Fury squeeze...they burn out. Wilder has the punch...but not the footwork to keep Fury off him. Usyk has the footwork...but we will see for how long. Maybe trying to avoid the squeeze will be as mentally draining as being in the squeeze is physically.

If the likes of Bellew & Witherspoon can land on Usyk, so can Fury.

Youre absolutely right about that, but he can take punishment. Personally, I think Usyk and Fury are the two most skilled HWs today, and it'll be a beautiful fight. I think it'll go to Fury, just bc a good big boxer will always beat a small good boxer. Plus, Fury has a lot more tools in his favor: the reach, he leans on ppl with a LOT of weight, he can slug with giants like Wilder, or pick apart more technical boxers. I think if they were equally sized, it'd be too close to call.

It might be a snoozer, because both will be very cautious, probably for the 1st six rounds or more!
