Nash rules - Fight 3 times over 12 months or get removed from the rankings, and your earnings from the year are donated to The Human Fund. Nash out

I now believe fighting once a year should become a standard.
You won't receive any commendation for fighting more than once, anyways.
And your risk of losing a step is higher. Not to mention the wear and tear.
You won't even get any props from fans. So why do it?
There's not even any difference between active and inactive in this sport.
Look at the Charlos, the Wilders, they get the same treatment like they're fighting 4x a year.

2 times a year almost rarely happens now, 3 times is an impossibility. Haven't seen any one boxer complain, so they must be loving it.

It seems to Nash that most boxers are happy fighting once every 18 months for a huge pay check. Great for them, but not so much for the fans. Nash out

Not many fighters are willing to accept this reality. I don't think there's any more solution to it.

The solution may be to freeze out all these part-timers and allocate most of the funds on up and coming boxers. It's cheaper and perhaps they can make lots of cards featuring them.
