As a Thurman fan, I'd prefer he had that fight instead of going straight into a fight with Spence anyway, since he's only had one fight in 3 years. Maybe they can make Crawford vs Spence in April/May due to the circumstances. I hope that's how it plays out. In fact, if they don't make Crawford vs. Spence the next fight for both of them, I hope one or the other makes an announcement that they're moving up to 154. This waiting around is B.S. Thing is, Tszyu is the WBO mandatory, so if Bud tries to go that route to get a mandated fight against Jermell, he'll be behind Fundora and whoever is mandatory for the IBF. Maybe somebody will step aside, but I don't think Fundora would. TIme will tell.
Thurman vs. Ugas! I'm down with that! Thurman vs. Cody Crowley would be a good one too!

Puh-lease...
That’s my point- when Bud knew Spence & Haymon turned Ghost on him, plus the fact Spence is way over weight in Oct and still overweight… Bud don’t need the protected boys club to stay P4P # 1 !! You get it now??

I was originally thinking no regarding Cody - feeling Keith needs someone clearly on the top level - but besides him being undefeated I see he's ranked #8 by the TBRB so if the Ugas fight can't be made, Thurman vs Crowley would be good since everybody else at the top already has an assignment (or is on the shelf, in Spence's case).

Plus he's not coming off a KO loss, and a broken face!

We can only wish that would happen.

Fact is, it's being swept under the rug. Which is a shame given how much coverage was given to Fury's gloves.
