and the one loss he had was in his first 3 fights or something in his career so it really doesn't count he was virtually undefeated.

Yet if you look at them together it's not even close. Floyd has fought the far better opposition and Cotto fought nothing but no names for the majority of his career.

          Decent names on Cotto's resume:

          1. Victoriano Sosa. But OOPS Mayweather had already softened up and owned a much fresher Sosa who had only 2 losses by 119-107 owning him. Cotto takes Mayweather's leftovers.

          2. Demarcus Corley. Oops. Mayweather had already ruined and owned him too, knocking him down 2 times. Cotto finished him but Corley famously almost ended Cotto's run by putting him on ***** street all over the ring the same way Torres did.

Then there's some more of the new guard B level fighters. Malignaggi, Judah, Gomez, Jennings (lol).

The only top name on there is Mosley who many felt beat Cotto anyway. Clottey is a good name too and once again many felt he beat him.
Now he's picking on a tiny Pacman like Mayweather did to JMM (double standards?)

          Mayweather had names like
          1. a basically unbeaten Jesus Chavez
          2. Corrales
          3. Castillo (twice)
          4. De la Hoya
          5. Hatton
          6. JMM
          7. Judah

Notice, these are all some of the biggest names of the sport over the last decade at the lower weight divisions.

So you gonna tell me that Cotto's A-list opponents Clottey, Mosley, Malignaggi and Judah are better than Corrales, Castillo, DLH, Hatton, JMM, etc?

So why the double standard then?

Well, of course it's a given that Floyd is the best and thus the stanards by which he is judged are the highest. But you haters have to give him at least SOME credit at least because some of you make it sound like he's a complete bum who has never fought anybody while simultaneously praising Cotto. Yet as proven here Cotto's resume pales in comparison so check yourselves fools.
I'm a fan of both but whats the point of bringing this up? Mayweathers best wins were Corrales and Castillo and that was a long time ago

Floyd hadnled his biz in the lower weights no doubt
but what has he done since moving up to 140 and 147?
            basically nothing
