Funny thing is, at the time of the knockout I've been zooming in and can't see the stitching coming apart on the glove. Not sure they didn't open them up for the post fight photo. Dude got KO'ed. No NC but if he needs to run it back that's ok but Crawford sleep him in less rounds.

This is a disgrace. Crawford was clearly hitting Avanyesan with structurally compromised gloves. If the rules had been applied and Crawford had been forced to change his gloves immediately the problem was noticed, then Ava might have survived a whole 'nother round. #Justice4Ava

Clearly this fault is on Nebraska athletic comission end for not inspecting gloves properly before and when the incident took place ,Sup in charge didn't even hesitate to let bout continue when gloves was clearly in no condition for competition, it had to be replaced with a new pair just as rules dictate ,this wasnt ref fault at all,she properly asked for TO and went immediately to comision supervisor for inspection she did her job correctly ,Bud also shouldn't take heat for this but this team since they also need to make sure gloves/wraps are in perfect condition for both fighters safety.

Regardless if it was Crawford altering his gloves or Everlast it's all the same those gloves were in no shape or form legal to box in.

This fight needs to be overturned because Avensayan got screwed big time.

If I was Avenesyan, I'd be a man and say, "you know what? The gloves split, it was noted, and right afterwards, he knocked my ass out with clean punches that I didn't block or even see coming, and it had zero to do with the split, it had to do with him suddenly changing the speed of his punches, which I had gotten used to, and he cracked me hard my chin and the left side of my jaw and put me to sleep, and that's all there is to it". That would make him an immortal in boxing. All this protesting is a stain on Avenesyan, because he knows Crawford didnt cheat and he knows the split isn't why he lost, and he's trying to get something that he didn't earn in the ring. And the fact that Bud ended right after the pause in action, shows that he could have done that at anytime in the fight that he wanted to. He was literally toying with Avenesyan and just wanted to give his hometown fans a few rounds of entertainment b4 he closed the show.
