    Current rankings:
    WBC: Cruz (2), Shakur (3), Zepeda (4)
    WBA: Zepeda (3), Shakur (5), Cruz (7)
IBF: Cruz (4), Shakur (5), Zepeda (unranked)
    WBO: Shakur (2), Cruz (3), Zepeda (6)

Even if WBC chose to penalize them, Cruz/Zepeda is still a match-up of significance for the WBA/WBO. Shakur just needs to face someone ranked and stay sharp/disciplined.
Again your trying to give them a way out for ducking, there's no excuse for it. Shakur is sandwiched between them in the rankings of 3 of the 4 sanctioning bodies, including the WBA, for a reason. It's obviously being encouraged for either one of them to fight him. You shouldn't reward cowardice and avoidance, otherwise the cycle continues of the best unwilling to face the best for fear of a loss. Shakur is moving up and he's not afraid, he's requesting the fighters right next to him in the rankings, and these pxssy fighters are scared to get in the ring with the guy coming from a lower weight class. Nah, they shouldn't be allowed to go around him for the two ducks to get a payday and notoriety while turning down his fight. Scared bxtches.

Everybody except Tank. Davis has an extremely high skillset as a boxer that often gets overlooked because of his highlight finishes. He's also an elite athlete, he just so happens to possess the equalizer; unmatched power for the 135 division.

Why did you get so quiet all of a sudden, William Zepeda?

Stevenson is most likely gonna get a title shot before Cruz/Zepeda because Haney/Loma are on his side of the street. If Cruz/Zepeda want a title shot, they will probably have to see Shakur at some point.

The most realistic way of penalizing boxers for avoiding eliminators/title shots would be to bump them down the ranking. But I doubt the WBC is gonna do that.

Exactly, the lower the ranking or removal from the rankings, the lower the purse, which would make it at least less convenient and more expensive for the best to avoid each other.

Does anyone know what the offer was? Was there a counter given or just a declination?

Zepeda should just fight Shakur. He isn't going to get any better fighting anyone outside the top 10. If there was no counter offer, I blame GBP for not having faith in him. Imo, he is also the only 1 besides Tank at 135 that could beat Stevenson. Some judges like volume so he could squeak out a decision. Hell a draw would bring both these guys the biggest payday of their lives and guarantee a trilogy.

Shakur is lying. Zepeda and GB didn’t send an offer

I doubt Zepeda is dodging Stevenson. Zepeda's a real warrior. But after his loss to Prograis, he deserves a soft touch. Kambosos should also get a soft touch after his back to back losses to Haney. But this is boxing and some of these fighters are dogs. Those two guys seem like the type of fighters to jump right into another big fight.

Are you talking about Jose Zepeda? If you are, wrong Zepeda lol. I dunno if I would advise Kambosos to fight Stevenson. If all Kambosos wants to do is secure money for his family then I would say yes, sell out, then gatekeep a few fights for some pocket money then go be a commentator.
