I wonder why they didn't harrass Bob Arum to lose more money? How about a cool 100 mil. They should've asked Arum to lose 100 mil so Crawford can get key fights

15k is high considering the app itself doesn't have 15k downloads on Android or Apple. So assuming every single person who downloaded the app bought the PPV (extremely unlikely) you're still below 10k. Factor in the buys from integrated sports (cable, satellite, website buys) and getting it to 15k is a stretch.

In the spirit of transparency Haymon should demand proof of how many buys Bud’s fight did last weekend. This will be the starting point of negotiations and how much Bud’s worth is.
Let’s be real, 15k would be generous. At no point was Crawford trending that night which can be an indicator of mainstream interest. Was 0. There was pretty much no promotion, probably because BLK had no experience and probably no budget. There was a UFC card and a fight at MSG on ESPN. Almost no incentive for casuals or fight fans to pay for this huge mismatch.
Bud should have been taking fights like this in his 20’s to build himself up. He’s 35 and as a free agent drew no interest from major promoters because he has little value for what he thinks he’s worth.

Bud should take what he's given, just like Floyd and everybody else had to do. Buds main leverage is by winning the fight against Spence. THEN he holds all the cards, not BEFORE the fight
This just proves that Crawford doesn't want to fightLast edited by Chollo Vista; 12-15-2022, 11:32 AM.geevee likes this.
