Its not as if he's asking for something unreasonable, by March Haney and Loma will have been out of the ring for 5 or 6 months. If he wants it in March, then that should be it.
So let me get this straight, you can fight during Ramadan when you're not undisputed but if you're undisputed you don't have to fight during Ramadan anymore?

You’re doubting this for reasons only you know. Many adults change their religion as they get older.

Haney has done everything honorably in his pursuit of the undisputed title.

I mean I provided a clear video to be seen, usually when someone changes their religion they aren't walking around displaying images of another. Yeah people can change religion if they truly mean it, actions speak louder than words though. Once again I never denied Haney becoming undisputed the right way.

I'm strictly arguing about the article's claim that Haney has a hard time cutting weight. However, cutting weight would not be an issue while fasting. Funny stuff about him being a fake ****** and just using it as a convenient excuse.
I was always under the impression that during Ramadan you can't drink water while fasting either during daylight well for devout ******s anyways.

Not what I said, I was speaking solely from the perspective of having leverage to make the demand. If he's climbing up the ladder to be in contention for big fights and championships, no one is going to listen to his demands , requests for certain dates, or accommodate him for any reason because he's not in a position where they need him. But now, as the undisputed champion, he holds all the belts, so all championship fights come through him; THEY NEED HIM in order to make the biggest fight for the biggest money, so he's in the position where a reasonable request or demand should be honored and respected.

Ah, but once the sun goes down, they can eat and drink. The restrictions are from sunrise to sunset.

        • Since when is Haney ******? Wearing all that gold ***elry. Hate people who pick and choice what to follow in the religion they claim they are. Either follow all what is written or don't claim that religion, you cant pick and choose.

It feels like youre reaching now.

Haney has fought anyone willing to fight him. He took as horrible a deal weve all seen. He had been honest and professional through the dropped belts and bad deals.

Anyone blaming him has an agenda or a bias against him for reasons I can’t understand.

Haney, Usyk and Inoue are conducting themselves the way we all claim to want champions to do.

            • Don't know what it is, but I think father and son team Haney just want more money for the fight or some kind of control or something. They're the A-side doe.

Checking out Haney's record, he fought nine times in 2016, and one of those fights fell on a Ramadan month. Then the next year in 2017 he fought seven times and again one of them fell on a Ramadan month. He fought 2x in 2018 and fought 4x in 2019, which again one of those fights fell on a Ramadan month. I stopped checking and I thought that would be enough for my little search.

As the article said, he had Arum guarantee it in his contract, that he would fight for a championship in his second professional fight. Arum would've rejected anyone else that did that, because he wouldn't have wanted to risk the money to make it happen and called them arrogant. But, he did it for Loma, and bought him a fancy apartment and a Mercedes Benz. He even paid for another title shot his next fight, after Loma lost the championship fight in his second. Handheld!!

If Loma has no leverage and Haney is this big shot caller, then he needs to stop begging for little old Lomachenko and move on to bigger and better names then. Haney doesn’t need Lomachenko, he has Kambosos 2x and 4 belts. Much respect.

Lomachenko on the other hand, can get literally any big name he wants without even having 1 belt. He can even cash out with a Pacquiao fight or Mayweather exhibition match. All he has to do is call them out and they would both probably say yes at 154 (would be a mismatch). Point being, that’s where Loma is at in his career. He’s in a position to cash out. That’s his leverage.

If Haney has all this leverage and respect, and all these belts, then go fight someone else.

There’s a reason why Haney wants Loma so badly. That name recognition is better than anyone currently on his resume. Way better than even the guy he won the 3 other belts from. Absolutely way better than the guy he beat for the WBC title. He knows he has a trash ass resume and needs a legit, former elite name on there.

                  • Get the excuses ready. Got the advantage in size, age, and speed. Here comes the " i couldn't get a good camp in " excuse. Or the " let me find another basic fighter to fight " coming up.

Absolutely. All the emphasis on these belts means ****. He has no impressive wins. How he managed to avoid Tank, Garcia, and Lopez is beyond me. They pick the softest fights and yell about belts. Jermall Charlo is the champ. Though he beat a 39 year old to get it. No one cares.
