He's not getting disrespected for his status as a champion, it's the excuses just like Loma with his excuses after the Lopez loss, excuses shouldn't be made before or after fights...

As pointed out by other posters other ESPN don't want it competing with other programming as they know it'll lose out and surely Haney knows this which makes it seem like he wants to swerve the fight, which is w/e because the french fries belt robbed us of that fight happening earlier but we got the Lopez fight instead.

And the reason top rank doesn’t want the fight in March is because they don’t want to go up against March madness which will take up every Saturday during the month. They could have it in April but are accommodating Haney.

March Madness doesn't start until the later half of March. That leaves 2 earlier Saturdays for the fight .

That's not how cutting weight works, they need to drink a lot of water in order to cut properly these days. It would also mess with energy levels during training camp.

Wouldn't he be drinking lots of water in order to survive while fasting? I do understand and agree about the lack of nutrition while fasting during training camp being a serious detriment. I'm strictly arguing about the article's claim that Haney has a hard time cutting weight. However, cutting weight would not be an issue while fasting. Funny stuff about him being a fake ****** and just using it as a convenient excuse.

That is BS. March Madness doesn’t happen in MSG or Vegas. ESPN doesn’t broadcast March madness. So this fight would be peeling away viewers. Fyi, no ncaa games in the tourney are played until March 18th. You can make it the 4th or 11th.

Additionally, the tourney ends April 3rd. You justifying Bob waiting another month to 6 weeks after that is BS.

Great post. Its clear Bob, Loma and his fans are deathly afraid of Haney. I could see if Loma was the champ. Hes a contender. Since when does a champion so honorable get treated like this from his promoter.?

This is also similar to the Walters/Loma fight where Bob delayed it for a year, wouldnt make a fight for Walters, then made the fight at a higher weight to help Loma.
