Well, Inoue is in a good position. Fulton can’t avoid him unless he vacates. I don’t know when that mandatory will be due, but that’s the route he should be taking, and he’s either going to get a fight Fulton for two belts, or fight for a vacant belt ,which puts him in a good position anyway.
Fulton has mentioned facing Inoue in the future I believe, but thats a good idea, I forgot about the WBO mando route.

For sure, he got out at the right time though...good to see guys retire on their own terms. I see Inoue getting out in the next 3 years as well.

I can't see him beating Fulton. Too much movement and quickness. If it took him 11 rounds to catch Butler, it's going to take him 30 to catch Fulton.

figeuroa is also a taller career jr featherweight. it's possible Inoue can win, but I don't see it. Unless he's hired Pac's "nutritionist"

I honestly think Paul Butler showed more lateral movement (ineffective) than fulton usually does. Fulton usually will plant his feet to get his shots off then pivot out and start moving again. His speed is good compared to Daniel Roman, but Roman was never a fast fighter, just a fundamentally sound jack of all trades fighter.

Inoue likely has the speed advantage, and certainly has the power advantage and the accuracy to feign and deliver punches on target

Fulton is moving up to fight Figueroa again. doesn't want MJ or Inoue I guess.

mj - tapales (2 titles, ibf mandatory)
                    fulton - figueroa (2 titles)
nery - azat (wba mandatory and potentially wbc mandatory)

since both titles holders and most of the mandatories (number 1s) are busy, inoue should fight aleem. that would determine the only wbo mandatory for fulton instead of two in a row. i would even petition for inoue - aleem to be for the interim wbo title in case fulton vacates his belt (which can easily happen since pbc has more options for fulton at 126).
