Teo's in between a rock and a hard place. Too big for 135(so he says) and a lil too small for the top guys at 140lbs.

Kambosos didn't ruin Lopez, he exposed him. Lopez is a strong fighter, but he lacks many skills - he doesn't use a jab, he doesn't move effectively (his balance is bad), and he doesn't use defense. He also has a terrible corner.

Teofimo can not compete and be successful against the very elite unless he makes serious changes - to include his dad as trainer.

Lopez's recent struggles also shed light into how overrated Lomachenko is to an extent.

But yes, Lopez's reign near the top will definitely be short lived if he doesn't replace his dad, corner/team, and improve his game.

Ruined = beat his face in and put knots on his head and damaged his brain and his fighting heart. AKA whipped his ass

Fact's! Nothing but the fact's! Kambosos, stood up to the bully, and busted his face, heart, spirit, and kicked his ass, all over the ring.
Teofimo's father was so confused that he was asking his son (who was Bloodied, Beaten, and Bowed) what was (kambosos), still doing here?
What a concept the coach/trainer asking the fighter for answer's, instead of giving his fighter instruction's on how to beat his opponent.
The old man even walked into the ring with a boom box (juvenile street style), to play his son's favorite victory dance music after the fight.
Except that they felt like such loser's after the fight that the father never played the boom box, and the son was to embarrassed to dance.
There was nothing to celebrate, and if they had decided to do so, they may have been booed out of the Madison Square Garden Arena.

If Top Rank were smart, they would have Teo fight the winner of Barboza Jr. vs. Pedraza, and keep him away from Josh Taylor!

Well at least Haney didn't lie. Teofimo is now officially a ruined fighter. He is mentally broken. Whether it came from the Loma victory or the Kambosos defeat you decide.

Teofimo needs a new team around him led by a world-class trainer. Unfortunately, his father is very limited as a trainer. He is as much a trainer as I am an NBA all-star. Compounding that is Sr.'s ego. Without a new trainer, this kid is done as a top boxer.

The Teofimo haters are out in force. Hopefully Teo's career gets straightened out--many here say he needs new people in his corner and they are right. He needs a Freddie Roach or Robert Garcia in his corner--not his dad. Much potential like Broner & others but it is being squandered.

Lopez was referring to the L on his resume. Yeah Teo, you still got it.
