Here's the real question. How much $$ did BLK lose on Crawford?

I don't personally care much about the how much he made doing this or that, but one thing that will suck, one for the fans, and the other for himself when he's 65 years old and realizing he missed a huge opportunity if he had faced Spence and beaten him to shut up all the naysayers that he'll have to listen to for the rest of his life.
Why is the assumption that TC would be the one questioning himself and not Spence who hasn't accomplished as much as TC has to this point? If it's money, that's comparable as well? And it's Spence who is the one who has almost had his career ended prematurely twice (accident, retina damage) (and 3x if you include this past weekend). I think his regret would have extend far beyond just a TC fight.

But I guess we can hope this was a reality check for both? - the arena was packed but I doubt the PPV was good, meanwhile Spence gets in a head-on car accident on the same day.

Nothing if you have a good base.

The only reason I care about this is because I want the sport to do well. If Crawford-Spence does happen, it is better for all of the sport both men bring something to the table.

Man, both guys are going to regret it when they're in their elder years if they miss out on it. In fact, I'm already bummed that Crawford is like 35. He's nearly out of prime years if he hasn't already. WW prime years for me are like 28-32. It could just be that the competition has allowed him to look dominant. This is like a repeat of Pac-Fraud Jr. I'm not sure how many years have already passed where people asked for TC - Spence, but cmon people were asking for Pac-Fraud Jr. since 2009 when he thrashed Cotto after thrashing Hatton and ODLH. Instead, we got it 6 years later. For me and many others, a far cry of the Pac we all thought would savage Jr.

At this point, with Spence being the younger, if he wins, people might just say, well that is because TC was the older guy. The only thing they both got going for them is that both are highly aggressive and neither is great defensively and can be hit. That means both guys have a pretty good chance, even at their advanced age or in TC's situation. Pac didn't have that because his style relied on youth and leaving his prime years meant, he wasn't the Pac people craved to face a defensive minded fighter who will benefit even out of his prime years.

          Nah mean?

I was 2 seconds from preemptively buying plane/flight tickets to Vegas when they announced the fight is tentatively scheduled for Nov 19th, only for Bud to pull David Avenysian out his ass then turn around and do 15k

Stop wasting our time if you don't want to fight. That's the point
They don't want to see the fight, too busy not wanting to see their manz get beat. Only this generation of boxing. Imagine if this nonsense was going on when they made Leonard vs Hearns.

You can protect his dentures and put him in rehab, but scared Spence fans like you are the ones who don’t want Spence to take that risk. That’s why you come here and lie and worry about pockets n ****. Weirdo. You tell that country ass ******* drunk that he will need a new set of dentures if he ever has the balls to face Bud.

Crawford is a product of his weak era. This era made it easy for good fighters to look great by avoiding the best but still collecting belts.

No point in arguing if Crawford is good or not. He is good. But he looks great when he’s not.

                      Clarification:

Apparently, Crawford and Avanesyan got paid, but others on the card didn't.

Something else interesting from the Nebraska Athlete Commission:

005.04 No contestant shall be paid for services before the contest. No contestant shall be paid who does not complete the terms of the contract or who is deemed by the commissioner, inspector, or referee to be putting forth less than maximum effort. This provision will be especially observed when bouts are stopped for any reason other than inability of a contestant to continue.
That first line means Crawford could not have been paid before the fight. Which means another lie.
