The difference is that Cotto is a warrior and a professional, not a coward like Floyd. Cotto will make 145 and then will ko Manny before 9 rds. Manny is biting more than he can chew.

you guys are ******... didn't you see how floyd dominating floyd was because of his weight advantage?

pac and jmm have no business at WW.

I dunno what you girls are crying about anyways... cotto will still be 10+ lbs heavier than pac on fight night.

He weight-in at 146 against Clottey. And, also has weight-in 146 for, I think, half of his fights at WW. I am not sure if Cotto is killing himself to make 147?

You're correct on that...Cotto is not killing himself to make the 145....at all! he He came up from 140 for that same reason, because he's much more comfortable at 147, and usually come in about a pound lighter or on point for his weigh ins.

Roach is worried about him not making 145, which is a ******, because it's only one pound less than the weight he would usually come in at. Fear is a funny thing, aint it? lol Makes people say and do such assanine things.

No, Cotto only has to make the 145 on weigh in nite, then he can hydrate again. IMO he should re-hydrate as high as the WW division allows, just to show Roach, that if you want to challenge a WW and make him come down from the weight class in which he won his title, you'll have to faca a full blown WW on fight night, where catch weights don't mean ****. Fair is Fair and what's good for the goose ,should be good for that gander.

I mean to me by Roach refering to a Mayweather trick, maybe he is talking about floyd not giving his offical fight night weight. Look at Oscar who had to rehydrate an hour or so before the fight cause how freddie was keeping tabs on his weight. He pointed out the IV marks on Oscar and said we got him now, he couldnt rehydrate. If that aint weight draining I dony know what is.

First of all, the only limit on how much weight someone can put on after a weigh in his physical limit.

I think it would actually work to Pacquiao's advantage if Cotto rehydrates and puts on too much weight. Putting on that much weight overnight has its effects on endurance, and will often leave you sluggish and lethargic.
