To fight the number 2 P4P fighter at 147 in Oscar? That's the equivalent of turning down Berto and going after Kessler. Mayweather is just better than Berto but his clout was just as low almost. And Oscar had first dibs on Floyd back in 2006. Mosley had no control over that and he just made up something and said his tooth hurt. They were separated by a weight class back then. But now that they are fighting in the same division, Mayweather is running in the other direction and unlike Mosley did back in the day with De La Hoya, fighting smaller guys in JMM and Hatton while Mosley does his heavy lifting fighting Collazo, Margarito, and Cotto. Have a nice day.

I've been a little skeptical of Mayweather since the days when Cotto was becoming the man to beat at ww. everyone was talking about Floyd vs Cotto. when Floyd said Cotto hasn't done enough, and then accepted a challenge from Hatton, i began to think it was only about the $$$ for Money May. I never thought Floyd couldn't beat Cotto, but i just wondered why wouldn't he want to secure his legacy by beating the toughest. Why go against the fans? It makes me believe he really doesnt pay attention to what people are saying.

Fight Shane Floyd, you can beat him. do it for the fans and for you legacy as an ATG.

I mean just look at the rings top ten rated welterweights, and how many of them has floyd fought? NONE of them. Thats why he gets **** from the fans
I can agree with that. He has to fight some of them, ESPECIALLY
if he is going to be at WW. I think Cotto/Mosley would do just fine.
IF Floyd doesnt fight any of them now that he is back and retires
again, THEN I will think he ducked them guys BUT as for now we have
to look at the fact when Floyd was fighting guys like Zab and Baldomir
Cotto wasnt in the equation, Mosley told Oscar to beat Floyd and send
him his way after. Margarito was around BUT who was he really?
The same way Manny disregarded Mosley because they felt Cotto
was a bigger money fight, Floyd did the same prior to Margarito
because he wanted Oscar and or Mosley. That is the name of the
game cant say Floyd ducked them because he moved up to 154
to fight Oscar a division he never fought in being the smaller
man. Floyd executed a plan to become the man and get paid.
Now that he is back, there should be no excuse for him not to
        fight WWs.

But we have to weigh in also that Mosley fought Oscar Juiced up.
Cant really S**t on Floyd and praise Mosley. Floyd is back so
lets see what he does next.

I have been saying this all along Mayweather does not want to fight anyone who he knows can beat him look at his so called body of work as a WW.As a LW he fought everyone but as he moved up in weight look at the list of bums that he has fought and people still rank him high on the best p4p list are you serious? You watch he hhas 4 fights left on his deal let's see who his next 4 opponents are if he makes it that far. I think that he'll beat Pac but not Mosley or Cotto.

Mayweather will never, ever fight Mosley. If you think he will your crazy. He will make up any excuse not to fight him. He has 5 losses, he juices etc. No way it will happen.
