  • Predictions for 2023.

-Fury defeats Usyk to become undisputed HW champion.
-Joshua rematches Whyte. Whyte then has a third fight with Chisora.
-Bivol vs Beterbiev doesn’t happen. Bivol fights Buatsi then Canelo, Beterbiev fights Yarde then Smith.
-Bivol defeats Canelo again, despite possible catchweight shenanigans.
-Spence and Crawford once again don’t fight each other.
-The “agreed” Tank vs Garcia fight falls apart and does not happen.
-Eubank Jr vs Conor Benn is shamelessly rescheduled and will take place in the Middle East.

We see a belated end to WBA 'regular' belts in 2023, mostly by attrition as fighters retire or move up divisions.

      Joshua lose to someone unexpected
      Fury "retires"
Bivol becomes undisputed at 168, not at 175
Crawford goes to court for not getting that 10 million
Teo gets title shot at 140 and loses (his mind)
      Fury-Wilder 4
      Munguia keeps fighting taxidrivers
      Fury "retires"
Ennis or Ortiz gets their title shot
      Benn gets banned
Wallin still calling out top heavyweights

bud spence finally happens at the end of the year and is a foty classic with bud stopping spence late and breaking his eye socket.

usyk fury happens and in shocking fashion usyk completely outclasses him and makes fury look a slow unskilled oaf then retires undisputed and undefeated

beterbiev knocks out bivol in the last few rounds after losing every round.

            - Fury KOs Usyk between 9-12. Beats Joyce by UD at his back foot.
            - Canelo KOs Ryder in late rounds. Beats Bivol in a close fight if they fight at 168. I think he will return to his old slick combination style.
            - Tank KOs Garcia in late rounds after competitive scorecards.
            - Joshua edges Whyte by UD.
            - Inoue will become 2x undisputed by KOing Fulton-Akhmadaliev winner.
            - Wilder KOs Ruiz after some tough moments.
            - Plant UDs Benavidez by 8-4 type decision.
            - Spence vs Crawford will never happen. Crawford retires in the last quarter of 2023 after beat another bum.

Everyone thinks fury is gonna walk over usyk like Joshua was going to . I think it's a 60/40 for fury . Usyk has a great engine and the only problem he's gonna have is fury's reach , everything else he should be able to adjust to .

Fury wins pretty much every round against Usyk and stops him mid/late fight.

NSB posters then claim that Usyk had no business fighting a man that size and it was always going to be a mismatch.

NSB posters then accuse Fury of avoiding Joyce.

I think it’ll be a very tactical. Fury will box Usyk, Fury has a great boxing brain and I doubt he’ll just go steaming in like people expect. Usyk will force Fury to work a lot harder than he has had to in recent fights. I’d pick Fury by a competitive but clear decision if/when it happens.
