Teo needs to realise he has dropped many rungs and he should be concentrating on climbing back up the ladder and rebuilding his reputation. His ego is a massive obstacle for him and his words sound, as usual, delusional. His attitude of "been there, done that, and I'm the big cheese" doesn't match reality and is not conducive to actually achieving these things for real.

I like all of these comments by Teo. Hubris is bad for business. Most post have said he is delusional or just needs to focus on the task at hand. If he wants to win a boxing competition I agree, if he wants to win money he should keep talking. More important is that he is staying consistently in the ring, activity is crucial in modern day boxing.

For not being Mexican, Teofimo seems to have some clout people want. Good for him.

          I don't see your logic.

Teo's words are filled with hubris.
You say hubris is bad for business.
You say he should keep talking if he wants to win money.

If JT wins, and stays @ 140, that's great for Haney! If JT loses, that's great for Haney! If JT wins, and vacates, that means Haney vs. Lopez for the WBO title @ 140, and that's great for Haney!
How is it great for haney if taylor loses? No one will care about him fighting jack catterall.

Lopez vs Haney is no doubt the easier fight to make as compared to the Davis fight. Bill Haney is probably taking advantage of their time with TR promotions and might as well try to leave feelers of interest in the fight for Lopez who's been with Arum from day one.

It's not hard to see why Haney's move to 140 is inevitable. Those sunken eyes in his weigh ins are not hard to notice.

                  That makes sense after Lomachenko.

Taylor/catterall winner wouldn't be available until the summer at best

Not sure if he's fighting Lomachenko, or anyone else at 135! I think he's outgrown the weight class, and he knows it! Would be a great payday, very risky on the weight cut! Should've happened in 2019! Hindsight is 20/20!

I agree with everything you said.

But Devin is backed up against the wall. He's kind of trapped into the Loma fight. He's right at the edge of breaking all the way through. A win over Loma seals the deal. But If he moves up. They will say he ducked.

                      But hey that's boxing
