And I don't think anyone fighting right now can match floyd on the ropes, hes blocked 15 punches outa 20 and the ones that landed are so ineffective that its benefits him more that they wasted energy throwing it.

Floyd's style and speed make him a better defensive fighter, its pretty obvious look at his fights hes lowered his opponents lowest punch connect %'s countless times. Honestly is this a jealous post to draw attention away from mayweather's limelight? B-hop is not a better defensive fighter than a mayweather.
And Hopkins hasn't lowered their punch counts?

Look, im not arguing that is ability to lower his opponents punch % makes him the best defensive fighter. I was just using it as example of why hes a good defensive fighter and im not going to go look up each fights % punches landed and try and say mayweathers better that way.

What im getting at is more into styles; mayweather is a defensive counterpuncher which at times is not so entertaining (unless you enjoy watching defensive fighting and tatics) and bernard is lets say a brawler in-fighter.

Being on the inside with another boxer is a different defensive game, its more about covering up and moving/changing position constantly, which is why i would argue b-hops style is great for an infighter he doesn't sacrifice his defense or movement to land a punch or very rarely does so.

Now defense on the outside and counter punching is where u see fast reactions, speed, and prediction come in (again im not saying in-fighting doesnt have any of these its just more prevalent with counterpunching)

I think if you watch mayweathers last fight studing his defense and movements you'll know exactly what im getting at, its great entertainment for anyone who likes technique not just as a mayweather fan.

As a defensive style fan i wont discredit you with supporting b-hops a great defensive fighter i just don't believe hes the best.
