Hop was sooooo badass in that fight.

I wish he fought like that all the time. He's good enough to go in there and step on the gas and get guys outta there.

If he fought like that against Taylor, he would've knocked Taylor out.

Even still I thought he beat Taylor both times.

I don't know about that man. I don't see one thing Floyd can do that Hopkisn can't, also when on the ropes Mayweather can get caught, Hopkins can't. Kelly is a much better fighter than Hatton, and Hatton clipped money may a few times.

He's great, well I think Floyd is better but they're very different. Floyd's defensive game is mostly based on his athletism. B-Hop does crazy s***t with the positioning of his feet and nullify your offense. That was great, great performance.

For starters, their footwork is even. Mayweather's defense in/ out and against the ropes is better. B-Hop's inside game is better, I'd know this because in B-Hop's prime, he'd beat the crap out of people and not get in the process. It was bad enough that B-Hop was real crafty on the inside but he had the stamina/ workrate to go 15 rounds. The commentators were left saying that after B-Hop beat Glen Johnson down, I agreed.

You can't make the Hatton comparison. Hatton has foot speed, where as Pavlik doesn't. Pavlik isn't a dirty fighter either (Although he tried to hit B-Hop low and paid the price). It's close man, it's close. It's hard enough that I have to compare my two favorite fighters though.

I respectfully disagree. Mayweather will get hit with a few clean shots in all of his fights, Hopkins will not.

B-Hop got more respect due to his power, dude was a beast. We gotta understand, B-Hop pretty much faught one way coming up (He chose not to box because he was more about beating people up), against Echols he outboxed him, faught in the inside sometimes but mostly outboxed him. In the rematch, he was going for the kill but as soon as his right arm fucked up, we all seen him box beautifully with his left arm only. Just saying, you could be confusing defense with respect.

I didn't even comment on who is the better defensive fighter, why? It's an opinion and you are entitled to your own. Plus they are both great at what they do.

Lol more like the opposite way man, what can b-hop do that mayweather cant? heh hes a lot slower, and his fighting style is a shell with quick slaps so hes sacrificing power punches for blocks etc.

And I don't think anyone fighting right now can match floyd on the ropes, hes blocked 15 punches outa 20 and the ones that landed are so ineffective that its benefits him more that they wasted energy throwing it.

Floyd's style and speed make him a better defensive fighter, its pretty obvious look at his fights hes lowered his opponents lowest punch connect %'s countless times. Honestly is this a jealous post to draw attention away from mayweather's limelight? B-hop is not a better defensive fighter than a mayweather.
