He needs to respond to Prograis' challenge since both are guaranteed to be in the 140 division for a while. Taylor most likely will not, and that's assuming Taylor beats Catterall.
Josh probably isn't going to stick around imo a big part of the reason Taylor struggled with Catterall was his body telling him it's done all it can do at 140lbs and it's bout time to move up. He couldn't just bulldoze over Catterall like he was able to do with some of his previous opposition..
Josh would be smart to move up I think, just even from a genetic stand point. I don't think we've never seen a white boxer that has sustained success coming into fights drained like black fighters can these African genetics and hood living most of us are used to functioning emancipated ya'll white boyz best not miss too many meals talking about fighting lol jk
but I don't want to see JT go out like that losing to Teo cuz he drained himself when he's run that 140 well dry already, If he's gonna lose might as well move up and lose to Spence or Bud...he doesn't have anything left to prove at 140lbs especially not to Teo
Teofimo Lopez and Josh Taylor are two of the most annoying and abrasive boxers alive today. They're both undeniably talented and have a lot of hype behind them, but they're also both incredibly ****y and have a tendency to talk trash. I hope for a simultaneous knockout if they ever fight.
"The goal for next year is Josh Taylor in the UK,” Lopez told BoxingScene.com, “to kick his ass in the UK, and give the fans a huge performance, a good treat.”
It's good that fighting outside of the US is not such a huge deal for Teofimo Lopez. It was such a huge deal with Haney and his fans as if he was fighting in Sri Lanka or something.
