Let's get to the purse bid, and make this fight happen! Great Match Up, although I would've rather seen Ennis vs. Stanionis, and would've liked to have seen Ortiz Jr.'s team be aqgressive for that fight with Crawford!

True, he definitely needs a lawyer.
but I think he accepted step aside money to let Crawford and Sprintz Jr fight. But now that fight is not on until 2023. he should be fighting Spintz's jr.
Someone is paying these sanctioning body to over look there mandatories. WBA mandatories included.Comment

Wrong....David Avanesyan was afraid to fight Ortiz and if Boots team wanted him to fight someone with a pulse they could've went after mean machine as he's already shared with the ring with both Crawford and Ortiz so i doubt he turns an offer down or Ellis who's on the same damn card fighting a no-hoper as well. Same **** PBC did with Cruz and Valenzuela, just the usual parade of give me's....Comment

He has a lawyer...his name is Shelly Finkel and you're probably not going to get a better lawyer in boxingbthan him. Trust me he's being well taken care of. He will get his shot. Let Spence, Crawford and KEEF figure it out in the next 6 months and then all the belts will be free. Boots. Stan, Virgil, Speedy and all the others can then figure 147 out. Watch out for Brian Norman Jr at TR. Conor Benn you're out!!Last edited by Sctrojan; 12-06-2022, 11:51 AM.Comment

Why wouldn't you want him to take it? The only guy Ortiz has on his resume is Kavaliauskas, a mid-tier fighter known for landing a hard punch on Crawford. If he beats Stanionis, who holds the regular belt, who also was next up before the Spence-Crawford fell apart, he puts himself ahead of Boots for the fight.Comment
