Also, sometimes a lesser opponent will give the favorite a tough time (Fury vs Wallin, anyone ?!?!?).
Skill wise, Usyk is the superior HW
    Maybe so, but size matters.

This was not a fight, it was a beating. Chisora did not win in the first round just like everyone knew he would not. His only strength is using his size on smaller guys and that obviously would not work. This was an organized senseless beating of Dereck Chisora. He obviously already has damaged his brain from all the beatdown he did and then the current lineal champion who is an absolute giant of a man still wants to beat Dereck up for 10 rounds? That's pathetic from Fury. Truly pathetic and shameful.

Fury wanted an easy fight and he sure as hell needs to be lying to himself if he thinks the money Chisora received makes up for the damage it took. Fury wanted an easy fight and he got it. Instead of facing a real challenge he beat up his journeyman friend who had literally no hope of winning this so called fight. No speed, no power, no footwork, throws mostly wild haymakers hoping to land. His only strength is that he is too stubborn to give up. Listen to Dereck after the fight, he seems like Sleepy Joe *****. If Fury was a real friend he obviously would have said "Dereck, I love you and therefore I would never beat you again, the last fight was enough."

This was a complete mismatch with no sense at all and just because it made money doesn't make it any less barbaric and ******. Usually this kind of mismatches happen as young up comers are facing total taxi drivers but there it sort of makes some sense as the level of the fighter learning the craft has a lot of weaknesses and there is no way to know what is the right amount of challenge. Here everyone knew from the get go and it went exactly as planned and it was a complete disgrace for the sport and indeed all sports and all athletes.
I genuinely think your watching the wrong sport buddy. Del knew what he was doing taking the fight, it's a calculated risk/reward thing that he's taken to set himself up for retirement. Who the f are u to say he can't make that decision by himself, I'd say it's u that's the actual racist just for insinuating that this black Zimbabwean man can't be trusted to use his own brain to make a risky financial decision on his own, if u stop seeing race everywhere u may actually start enjoying life a lil bit, all the best my guy.

Well there we go, nothing sensible to say so insert a boring insult and a strawman. Gold star for you, Fury fanboy.

Repeating yourself doesn't change the reality of the situation now does it? Bakole and Wallin are just as predictable outcomes.

Where was I insinuating that Chisora can’t ve trusted to use his own brain?

My criticism is for the bloodsuckers in the background, people who paid for it and especially Fury who is calling Dereck his friend.

It wasn’t a risky investment. It was Chisora deciding it was worth getting beat up with no hope of winning. He legit admits himself he doesn’t know his own good because of his fighter spirit. The temptation is big for a guy like him who is too stubborn for his own good.

But come on, the whole boxing community knew Chisora had no weapons against Fury. None.

I don’t think this was boxing. This a legal beating of a helpless man in the ring. And we had already seen it before. Fury knew, Chisora’s team knew, promoters knew and fans knew. And yet they chose to let it happen and indeed support it bcs they wanted a slice of the money or just to see the blood. It’s pathetic.

Nobody is calling this a great sports event and fight. It was a gross one sided battering of Dereck. Everyone just keep parrotting money money money in defence of this mockery of sportsmanship. That’s exactly the problem. Here the business of boxing forsook the sport of boxing in this mockery of a boxing fight.

The fighters are always over estimating themselves. They have to in order to believe in themselves. It is on everyone else to stop it from happening like this.

Everyone involved in this is a disgrace to boxing. That’s it.

Not that i disagree but you can say this about most fights where is the line? was it okay for Wilder to beat up 40 bums in a row with no chance at all. It's a tricky issue because at the end of the day Chisora is a full grown man who passes a mental health check for the license so he can do as he likes the fight should of been called a lot sooner though that's for sure.

I have better things to do than debate with race baiters.

Mismatches happen all the time, i expect this same level of outrage from you the next time an overmatched opponent loses.

That is a good question about where to draw the line. They grey area is big. This fight however was not in the grey area.

Wilder did struggle with many of his low grade opponents. His skills just were not there and he started boxing late. As far as I can remember Wilder has looked vulnerable even in the hands of guys like Molina, Szpilka or Washington. He really hasn’t been that dominant against any style. Except slow plodders like Breazeale and Helenius. He also got floored by a complete nobody early on. So the risks were there and his power saved him multiple times. I think his career planning has been cowardly but also understandable.

Unfortunately only the ppl close to the fighter and the fighters themselves can stop these things. And of course us as fans can make sure we don’t pay for the most obvious mismatches.

But I honestly cannot remember a championship fight that was this obviously gonna be a one sided beating. Chisora is tailor made for Fury and anyone who didn’t know that doesn’t have any boxing knowledge. To know that this was gonna happen and then go ahead with it truly speaks volumes of Chisora’s team, Fury and the people there and buying the PPV. No class, no tegridy.

Ultimately though it was Chisoras decision try one more time for the title and a big payday or go fight some other mediocre fighters and be stagnant he took his last shot but i'm not dis*****g what you are saying it was obvious after the 2nd fight but it is what it is. I just hope Chisora calls it a day now i don't want to see him in the ring again. Chisora has said several times he doesn't care about his health and just about the money so he seems happy with that trade.

Nope. You have nothing to say bcs this is obviously such trash. You have to call me a race baiter tho none of my actual points have anything to do with race. It was merely a reflection of how lowly this event was.

I sure will when someone is being so blatantly cowardly as the HW lineal champion here. Don’t hold your breath though, this level of bs matchmaking is rare. Tom Schwarz is the only comparison in recent years so it’s a Fury thing more tha anyone else in boxing.
