Cotto won 8 rounds and Mosley 4. Even Stevie Wonder, could see that!!
Co sign and that's being generous coz Shane Mosley didn't completely own more than 2 or 3 rounds in this fight. The thing you could say would be that Cotto won 7/5, that's the best situation for Mosley.

It is a legitimate and fair question, because people have always said and still do say that Cotto softened Margarito up for Mosley which I think is bull****. Cotto wasn't the only tough fight that Margarito had in his career. I thought he took more punishment in that fight against Antonio Diaz.

I guess you dont know **** on how to score a fight then!!!!!

I saw your agenda from miles, you just whinning for Mosley!!!

Relax Al Bundy, Mosley got the props he deserved for KOing Margarito. But he idnt beat Cotto and the shne of the Margo KO is gone!!!!!

          I agree with this post.

But I don't think neither softened anybody up. Coming in the Margarito fight, Cotto still had that aura like "i can't be beaten". That ****iness. And the same can be said for Margarito, you can see the ****y smile coming in the fight like if he will not be beaten any time soon. Even during the fight he was still smiling, but Shane wiped that smile right off his face in the 9th round.

Mosley didn't softened Cotto up for Margarito and i disagree with the posters that say Cotto softened Tony up for Mosley.

Cotto did not dominate Mosley in that fight at all. I also seen Cotto stole a couple of rounds at the end. It was Mosley's fight to win and he didn't step up when he needed to.

Mosley was starting to come on against Cotto, and that's why Cotto is a beneficiary of twelve round fights. He would've been gone in a 15-rounder. He won the 11th but was spent in the 12th because he let Mosley practically chase him out of the ring.
