Does anybody think Mosley softened Cotto up for Margarito?

Margarito got his ass kicked even if he did end up kicking Cottos ass aswell, I think Cotto may have softened up Margarito. Also, margs may have been cheating against Cotto who knows.

Nope, in any Case Cotto sofetened up Margarito for Mosley.

Cotto_Margarito was a case of Cotto being ****y and not having a good game plan and he payed for it.(and ofcourse the plaster) but regardles Cotto fought the wrong fight period!!!

I think Cotto underestimated the amount of punishment Margarito could take. He was getting caught in the first half of the fight but he just figured he was landing so much on Margarito that it wouldn't matter. If they fought again I think Cotto would box more and focus more on defence.

I don't know if its JUST you, but it certainly isn't me.

I know Shane had his moments against Cotto but Cotto looked to me to be straight up beating Margarito up at times in their fight, particulalry in the first half of it.

I agree my man. I also believe that Mosley had no gameplan against Cotto. He seen that Corley, Zab, and Torres hurt Cotto. So he figured he would take Cotto out easily. So he suprised Mosley with his boxing skills when Shane thought it was going to be a brawl. I had Cotto winning 7-5. That was the best version of Cotto

I'm sorry I don't have your Rican sun glasses on, but I scored it for Sugar. And it mystifies me why this poll is so lop-sided. It is a legitimate and fair question, because people have always said and still do say that Cotto softened Margarito up for Mosley which I think is bull****. Cotto wasn't the only tough fight that Margarito had in his career. I thought he took more punishment in that fight against Antonio Diaz.
