I thought Usyk looked nonplussed as he just stared through Fury. I realize Tyson was just trying to be showman and hype that fight but I also think he was a little off put by Usyk's crazy eyed glare. At that point Joyce joined in to give the corny response Fury desired.

Fury may have realized that Usyk's mind is stronger than his own, and - if needed - that Usyk is even crazier than himself.

Christ, a recent cruiserweight example is Haye beating Valuev with his almost 100 pound weight difference, whilst clearly not the same beast as Fury it's been done many a times...

Usyk has also knocked guys out similar in size in to Fury in the WSB in Modugno.

The "casual" will only know it's boring after the event. They won't anticipate it being a technical fight, which you're correct in saying it will be. Most people will just see that it's the guy who beat Joshua vs Fury for the "undisputed" title and buy the event. It's the "hardcores" who demand build up because they're never satisfied with the actual matchups.
