I bet Smith fights Igor Mikhalkin, Dominic Boesel or Pawel Stepien.

Be a pretty decent fight if it gets made depends tho if Buatsi is gonna get a shot at bivol in the spring next year because that could be likely now bivol won't be fighting canelo again in may an won't get the undisputed fight probaly that early cus beterbiev is wrapped up fighting yarde late January. If I was Buatsi id see if that bivol fight is really there to be made because in terms of financials i dont see it being that much difference hed probaly get paid more To fight Smith but it's all about his incentiveLast edited by Boxing2695; 12-02-2022, 12:23 AM.

I agree with you that young fighters on the way up are shortchanged by their management padding their records, obtaining a high alphabet ranking and then fighting for a belt against an elite level fighter without ever having been tested.Last edited by Boxing2695; 12-02-2022, 12:34 AM.

That said and a side this is a big problem today this whole ''no point in taking a risk'' sort of thing like what good is it fighting bums and taking on tune ups that are just going to get bombed clean out in showcase fights. How is that going to prepare you for a Beterbiev, a Yarde, a Bivol?
This is exactly why Yarde lost when he stepped up because of this whole no point in taking a risk stuff.
Callum Smith on the other hand is a frightening puncher at 175 and he’ll win with in 6 rounds
