Usyk won the fight, but? I am adamant, that he only won the fight due to Chisora fatiguing 'And it was a extremely close fight'.

Usyk has zero answer for Chisora's initial inside game and pressure. He tried to compete, but in those opening rounds and first half of the fight.

For me Usyk was just surviving. When Chisora began to fatigue and could not quite apply the same pressure, Usyk was then able to create distance.

Allowing him to box from mid-long range, a range where Chisora struggles to compete at against other World Class - Elite level fighters.

Nobody here can claim with certainty, that it was a easy win for Uysk. Usyk won the fight, but was battered in the process.

That fight was his welcoming party to the Heavyweight division. Usyk after that fight, understood what the Heavyweight Division was about.

I... am fine with that write-up. I can find no fault. Usyk had serious problems with Chisora. But that was why it was an outstanding fight for him to take. Chisora does not mail in any effort, and Usyk learned in a hurry that HW punches kind of hurt even when they do not land flush. He learned that his great power from the CW division carried over not even one bit and he was woefully underpowered in that fight. He learned he needed to tighten up a WHOLE bunch if he was gonna survive in the HW division, forget win. Chisora honestly did have a section of that fight he had a chance to end Usyk. But, he did not, and Usyk won going away at the end. Like you said, he was battered and dug deep.

I am actually very glad most on this thread are giving Usyk his due. Was expecting a ton of Chisora cheerleaders. Pleasantly surprised.

Usyk took a fight which was stylistically a difficult fight for him, because? He does not have a good inside game.

But he still had a bit of a go with Chisora on the inside, and survived the bombardment. Then when Chisora fatigued, Uysk then switched things up and created distance 'Boxed from Mid-Long range and won the fight'.

It was a tough fight, a extremely close fight. But he did win. Usyk had to go through that sort of fight.

A Chisora with better conditioning, and possibly Don Charles in his corner would of been even more difficult.

It was the physicality of the Chisora, the mass behind the punches that was different. The punches where moving Usyk, he experienced what the Heavyweight Division was about.

Joshua in the second fight with Usyk, was moving Usyk at times with his punches. But Usyk could deal with it.
