I doubt he will. Lamont dosen't seem to me like he has the power to ko fighter like Bradley. His brother Anthony IMO has the KO power. But, not Lamont.

That is kinda harsh. Bradley went to hostile territory and beat an Awkward Junior Witter. Even dropping Witter. First defense I agree was a gimme. Then he fights Kendall Holt who held the WBO and is a top 10 140lber. Then fought a tough veteran in Nate Campbell and was dominating him. And, now fighting an undefeated talented prospect in Peterson. I disagree with you he don't suck ass. And, actually I think he is good enough to beat Pac. IMO Bradley is the real deal.

Pac will probably never defend his title though. Roach said recently that the only title that was on the line when Pac fought Hatton was the IBO one. The Ring and lineal titles don't seem to have crossed his radar.

How many young american fighters. In there first big fight go to foreing hostile territory to their champ, who is also very awkward and come back with the belt?

True he knockdown silly twice in the same fight fight by Holt and showed poised and mental strength of a veteran by getting up and win the majority of the rounds. Did he not?

And, again how was he lucky against Campbell? he dominated, there was a headbutt, there was a cut, Campbell saw red spots. Again Bradley was dominating for 3 rounds. He made Campbell look old. lucky? Ok?

He doesn't fight anything like floyd... And thats a good thing from my perspective since I find floyd to be boring as hell.

He beat Witter clearly. The SD was BS.

                  Holt didn't do enough.

And you can't get lucky with a NC.

That doesn't take away the fact that the lineal champion at 130 moved up to fight the lineal champion at 140 at the 140lb weight limit and knocked him out in the 2nd round. Whether Freddie Roach realizes the importance of such is nonconsequential. Roach is a damn fine trainer and when Parkinson's finally wins it'll be a sad day for boxing, but his opinion on who the champions are and what titles are involved carries relatively no credence. I honestly don't believe Manny will ever fight again at 140, but he has yet to say this definitively and he has yet to retire, so he still is the 140lb champion. No one outside the ring can take that away from him except for himself or God, and you already know I rest my laurels on linear champions. It truly makes being a boxing fan significantly easier (except for the light heavyweight division, ***ing Zsolt Erdei) and the sanctioning body belts just help determine woh the top contedners are, no need to try and figure who holds what ******ed version of the WBA trinket title or who Jose Sulaiman is trying to blow to wear his belt or who he is pissed at because he isn't taxing them for large sums of cash that he earned or has any right to. MMA (UFC) has two things on boxing that keeps in at the forefront of mainstream coverage; one is ****e TV and great self-advertising; two; fans know who the champions are because usually (minus the Frank Mir interim champion title) there is only 1 champion per weightclass. And they have one thing that boxing doesn't and it signifcantly helps them, no sanctioning bodies competing with one another for money to confuse the fans. Clarity is everythinig for niche sports and that what boxing is at the moment. A really big niche sport, but any sport that doesn't have a fanstasy draft is now a niche sport in America.
