Here's how it's gonna go, and pay attention because i'm calling it right now. The Mayweather camp is gonna do everything in their power to get this fight done. It's the biggest fight for them right now and skill wise they know Pac is nowhere near Floyd's level. The problem is gonna come from Bob Arum and the Pacquaio camp, and it will involve them fabricating some cheap excuse to rob the fans of the fight they all wanna see by claiming Floyd is "being difficult with the negotiations and asking for too much money" which will conventiently prevent them from putting the fight together.

We've already seen glimpses of that old crook Bob Arum setting up his excuses in advance and i anticipate that the very cop out i named will be the downfall of the fight. God knows Manny's not gonna step up and make sure the fight happens, considering he's just a yes-man for whatever his handlers Roach and Arum tell him and he himself deep down inside knows what the outcome will be if him and Mayweather clash.
I hereby nominate this as ******est thread of the night.

What if they make Floyd fight Cotto, Mosley, and Clottey to prove himself worthy of a Pac fight then Pac retires from the sport and says that he has accomplished all that he can in the sport?

That's my point. You CAN'T know that he couldn't have knocked out JMM if he wanted to. He certainly could outpoint him and outmaneuver him and hit him with jabs and hooks and pretty much any shot he wanted to at will, and knocked him down easily when Marquez tagged him, upping the ante of the fight a bit.

I mean, such short memory, dude. One line can sum it up. 40-0. 25 KO's. He can knock ma****as out, you are playing yourself if you refute that.
Same thing with Joe Calzaghe yet people called him "Calslappy". JMM looked worse after the Diaz fight IMO

First...Floyd is one of a few who can punch effectively off of his backfoot...and that's part of hid defense...second...mayweather actually had Marquez shook to the point where he was actually being backed up...something I've never seen him do...but regardless...you know the name of the game...why fight wild and get your dome rattled if you don't have to? Which defense would you rather have if you were a boxer? I'd gladly take floyds...

WRONG! I'm a huge Pacfan and a Filipino, but without Roach, Pac will not be where he is right now, and that's THE PFP KING.

Holding the only respectable form of fighting to be "trading" is such a ridiculous notion though. Only people that have never been hit, felt a cracked rib, or a broken nose say that kind of ****. Or say that defense is "*****". Hence, armchair warriors.

As to JMM, I think Floyd treated it like a tune up fight. He wanted to get re-acclimated to a full 12 round bout after a 21 month layoff. That's probably the most likely reason, anyway.

But I will leave room for a slight possibility: maybe, just maybe, JMM being the warrior he is wasn't stopped because of his legendary heart and resilience, despite being outmatched in every way.
so you're going to talk about a boxer's past to describe him in present times? how idiotic

according to that, floyd still fights the best and calls them out

not effectively enough to KO a FW

you can say aaaaanything you want about his skills, but he still couldn't KO a natural midget

I really don't think any of these fighters are actually scared of each other. Pacquiao has balls the size of melons anyway.
