Id give the edge to Dirrell (60/40) but the thing is both these guys do things that can really frustrate the to the other guy it just depends on who imposes their game plan on who.

We know Froch has the Boxing skill of a 12 year old amateur and the speed of Sam Peter and Dirrell will take advantage of that with his speed and skill but what happens when Dirrell does the amount of backing up he usually does in his fights ? he does that and Froch will be all over his ass. Taylor and Pascal both took Froch to school in centre ring but look what happened when they started backing up, Froch took over and Dirrell does more backing up than both of them imo, although you could argue Pascal does the same amount.

If Dirrell keeps this fight in the centre he wins easy! but i bet you he dont do that.

I think you and I discussed this before, and both agreed that because both guys have awful, glaring holes in their game, it's a fairly even fight.

Froch is strong from the first bell to the last. His power / effort does not fade as the clock ticks, if anything he puts the foot down harder.

Froch is much too strong for Dirrell to take on.

Froch will likely start faster than he did against Taylor.

How many times have you actually seen Dirrell fight? because he aint as good as you seem to think imo. Ive seen him 6 times i aint that impressed with him, im not impressed with Froch either but you thinking this is some kinda 70/30 fight in Dirrell's favour is ridiculous for a guy who has never even been in a backs to the wall fight before.

I have been following both of Dirrell fighters, they are both great prospects. The younger brother Anthony Dirrell is more of an offensive and exciting fighter however older brother Andre is more skilled and a better fighter. I heard of Anthony because of Andre, and I heard of Andre in the 2004 Athens Olympics (The same even from where I became a fan of Amir Khan as well). Dynamite, I have seen many of Froch fights, and I have seen almost all Dirrell fights, majority were good, couple made him look bad, one was boring. I am telling you the way I see it, if im wrong I will openly admit it and say I underrated Froch and he is a good fighter, but I saw an amatuer fighter in Froch against Taylor and Dirrell has better handspeed, counterpunching abilities, defense and footwork. He has most things as an advantage, more than taylor and taylor lost that fight because he didn't stay on his feet the last round. Trust me, we can make a bet if you like, because I am very confident in Dirrell winning this fight, If wrong you can call me out on this, and I will admit it that I was wrong about Froch.

EDIT: Just realised you also agree that the fight will be in Dirrell's favour.

Dirrell is an underdog too in this fight, sweet.

I think it says a lot that he was able to get UP from that punch and win the fight. A lot of guys would have stayed down.
