'This is the hurt business, if you can fight with one hand, you fight. He quit. It's harsh to say, because these are brave men, but yeah, at this level, you fight on.'

Have to agree, guys don't usually quit with broken hands. Conteh, Honeyghan & Calzaghe all had horrible hand injuries in their fights & had to change style but boxed through it. I don't want to have a go, but he will be judged on this in future, especially because Ryder seemed to just be warming up!

Think parker bottled it abit there if he was dominating the fight an busting ryder up I don't think he would of stopped. But he knew ryder was turning it up abit so he called it a night

If you've fought which obviously a lot on here haven't , it's hard enough with two hands ! Impossible to fight a front foot brawler like Ryder .Terrible luck for Zack but Ryder needs a bit of luck that's been against him .

Ryder would likely have beat Parker down the stretch. Parker quit as soon as the heat was being turned up. Looked like he was going to try to spoil in order to get the win but he quit as soon as it got rough.

Normally I'd be giving him a hard time about him quitting because technically he did, but to be fair hand injuries are the downfall for a lot of fighters. It's better to stop furthering the damage to the hand if you want to have a chance at it healing properly so I can understand from that perspective, but it just shows when things get tough he wouldn't last.

So Benevidez (whom many fans are clamoring for) is not “enticing” enough for Canelo…but John Ryder is? Will be curious how Hearns spins this.

...Meanwhile Gary Russell Jr. fought through with his Injury

                WEAK!

Here we go fans want to be Selective with their Criticism of fighters, others fighters wouldn't been call "QUITTERS" among other things for doing the same

Apparently you don't need to earn the Canelo fight if you're a 'tune up'. All that 'who has he fought' stuff just vanishes when it suits the Diva.

Yawn, no need for Nelo to get in the ring to see what happens. Ryder is super average and by the fans logic, Parker is a quitter. Too bad, would've like to see the rest of the fight but hey, do what's best for you.

Easy UK $ If Nelo chooses but we'd all much rather see him vs Benavidez of possible.
