This fight is not impossible to make early next year. Ennis has stated publicly that he'll take the Crawford fight in a heartbeat. So there you go... Fighters nowadays don't mind waiting even as long as a year or more. So...

Crawford's fight with Avanesyan in only two weeks away. Who really cares if Ennis vs Crawford lands on BLK, Showtime, etc.

What in Ennis' resume is there that prepares him for this level? Clearly Ennis is very talented but he has fought no one with power, certainly no one with anything like Crawford's explosive variety of power.

Ennis had a great Amateur record, much better than Ortiz's but since then, what?

Not likely. Ennis is exclusive to Sho and Sho wont bother with the risk of purse bid where a company like BLK can wipe them out. Best they do is make one of their Infamously poor offers but duck the mandatory.

All that is out there is Ennis's deal with SHO was supposed to be a 3-fight deal this year 2022. Nobody knows if it will be renewed next year... I also think he has every right to take a fight outside of SHO simply because that 3-fight deal was not fulfilled.

I don't think you understand that Crawford is only with BLK for 1 fight

He already won his IBF mandartory and Crawford fought both his mandatory back to back
