So just how well did Floyd Mayweather Jr's unanimous decision victory over Juan Manuel Marquez this past Saturday at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas do in terms of Pay-Per-view sales? The actual numbers probably won't be released until the end of the week, but Sports writer Kevin Iole who writes for Yahoo Sports is reporting that the numbers for the Mayweather Jr vs. Juan Manuel Marquez fight may come in somewhere at around 1 million PPV buys!

In a recent column, Iole writes: "I’m hearing the Mayweather-Marquez pay-per-view is going to come in at or near 1 million sales."

Iole however doesn't think PPV numbers for UFC 103 (which was also held this past Saturday) will come anywhere close to what Boxing pulled in.

"I don’t have a verifiable figure for the UFC," writes Iole, adding: "... but I believe it will be far lower than 1 million."
