Please no. Now I'm really hoping Ryder loses....even by robbery.

This whole mindset of “deserving” a shot at Canelo is just flawed from the get go. What does this say about boxing in 2022? Canelo deserves to defend his titles and apparent status against real challengers. He did it against Plant at super middle, no faulting him there but when the sanctioning bodies have to step in and tell him to fight the best we have a serious problem. Ryder, if he wins, get in line. Or face all the same and more criticism that Charlo, Benavidez, and Morel get of the “who has he fought” lines of complete and utter bllx

way ahead of Edward see this coming months ago before Bivol fight and I'm OK with it again as long as it is in the UK and not a PPV

          UK fight I like more:

          Buatsi at 175

Canelo can be the one to "earn" his rematch, beat a contender at LHW

I think Ryder-Parker will be a snoozer that will cause a huge fan backlash against Canelo fighting either guy. Eubank Jr. Is too flaky - I don’t think Canelo will have the patience for going through the promotional nonsense that would come with hyping a UK fight with that cheeseball. In the end, Canelo will wait until September and do a lucrative fight against Usyk that takes everyone’s attention away from not fighting Benavidez, Bivol, etc.
I woudnt call ryder a journeyman he's alot better than that. He lost a few times in close fights earlier in his career but he improved alot as a fighter over the past few years. Is he elite? No he isn't but he's a strong rugged fighter an he's never been a easy nights work for anyone. Jacobs fight was close imo was no robbery an ryder got it. Canelo vs Usyk is a ****** fight canelo is outmatched an oversized by guys who are not even big light heavyweights. Canelo has basically said himself he wants a tune up in may so if ryder wins an gets the shot then I won't complain good for him if not an he fights another fight in the states then whatever ofc I wanna see canelo fight the best out there he can but that's not always the reality with these top fighters
