Got a cataract, had it diagnosed about 4 or 5 years ago. Real young. They say repeat head trauma is one possible cause of early cataracts so that seems like a likely cause.. certainly don't run in my family or anything.
Anyways, was getting headaches and blurred vision and everything looking like a cloudy day even in sunlight, so I went to the quacks about it and they sent me to the eye doctor. What was that, 2017 or 18 or so? 2017 I think. Maybe round the time little Koba was born now I'm thinking back.
Surgery was fkn weird, I did it under a local but fully concious, kinda put a cradle round your eyeball to stop it moving then cut the filmy lens out and put in an artificial one. Cleared up the dimness of vison and headaches almost right away, only thing is because the lens doesn't change shape like your natural one and they build em for older peoples eyes with smaller pupils (older folks pupils don't dilate as strongly cos the eye muscles get slacker with age) turns out the edge of the lens is actually in my visuial field. Don't notice it in daytime but at night bright lights catch the rim of the lens and gives it like a lens flare effect. Makes driving at night mentally fkn draining. Pretty distracting in the cinema too.Comment

Mmmm. It's a funny one...As far as I recall it usually if a fighter doesn't answer the bell then the stoppage should be counted for the round before the break, whereas if the fighter answers the bell for the next round but the ref decides he's not fit to continue you'd count it as the round after the break... so in that case this one would be a KO EARLY... however I generally abide by the official call according to the governing body (I think on the rare occasions we've had differences between the rules of governing bodies I tend to default towards the ABCs Unified rules over the BBBoC however).PICK EM CREW: is the Ryder result KO MID? OK... I had a quick look around and everyone has called it for the 5th... gonna roll with that this time. I'll make sure to pin down the rules a bit tighter for next year to ensure consistancy though. I had a quick scan over the unified rules and BBBoC rules and it isn't mentioned but I'm sure I'll find something if I go through all the addenda with a tooth comb - but I haven't got time this minute so let's just work with the official result.Comment
