Could it actually be a bad thing for a million+ people to have ordered Floyd-Marquez?

I didn't find the fight boring by any means. Floyd engaged and did not lay against the ropes the whole fight. He picked his spots and looked damn good doing it.

No it was not a slugfest, but even casual fans know that every fight does not mean slugfest. Exhibitions of pure boxing finesse and skill can be amazing to watch also.

But you are a hardcore fan of the sport. It's different, you view the fights differently... you find the science entertaining.

Could it have been a bad thing? That's kind of a ridiculous question...we're in a recession and got that many PPV buys. It shows boxing is still healthy....it a damn great thing.

If you claim it is bad because; TO YOU, the fight was boring, then hey to each his own. I can say, however, that a far greater number of casual fans were impressed with the performance of Floyd....and found it entertaining in that regard.

Just because there wasn't blood and brutal knockouts to excite the beer league viewers, then who cares. These are the types of people that like to follow the no skilled, glass chins of the UFC anyways.

Pretty much, what I'm saying is, you call Mayweather vs Marquez boring but that fight was ALOT more entertaining then Mayweather vs Baldomir/ DLH.
I dont care if he draws 800billion ppv's . He is still boring and booed in the arena and he is a mockery to the sport. To be compared to a fight with Baldomir in the first place is a put down in its own. Thats just another sucky fight we had the pleasure of watching.lol! Gatti...Should have retired when Ward did to be honest...He had no buisness in the ring. Anyone thinking this was a great win for Dumbweather is an absolute moron! You cant place PPV buys next to poor mismatched lame boring performances and think that that will erase the reality of the situation....The ring Card girls are more entertaining than Floyd. Ive seen Bar fights way more entertaining

I didnt say it was boring to me, I specifically said unless you are a die hard fan of the science...

If you don't understand the point I am making carry on else where.

I was drunk as hell and seeing double during the fight, from what I recall I was yelling at the TV telling Floyd to knock him out. I'll watch it sober on Sunday afternoon.

Iam a hardcore fan and a boxer and found the fight boring, to me a boring fight is a boring fight. Yeah its cool to watch floyd shouler roll out of a punch or make a good counter, but by the 6th round when thats the only thing that has been happening it is boring.
