It’s not even a co-promotion. It’s being solely promoted by Frank Warren.

Campbell-Loma, Campbell-Ryan, Bivol-Ramirez, Estrada’s last fight, some recent Joseph Parker fight.

You need to only listen to other promoters to tell you they have no issues making deals with Hearn.

If he’s willing to send his fighter’s over, the fans are still getting the fights. Why are we supposed to care about co-promotions?

Yeah, probably doesn't want to wear the risk or burden of losing money if it doesn't do well, but if his fighter just so happens to win, he'll be pushing Canelo to fight him next.

I was talking about big fights.

        Wilder-Joshua, Fury-Joshua, Canelo-Benavidez, Bivol-Beterbiev etc.

Which fights of his own should he mention? Maybe he thinks they will happen? Idk. Anyway I don't think it matters who's fights or fighters are mentioned. The point is it has to make financial/business sense or it probably won't happen which is pretty obvious really.

My point is that you don't hear or see other promoters besides Hearn , and occasionally Oscar, speaking about other promoters' fights or fighters that they don't think will happen business wise. Of course, in business, financially everything has to make sense or its considered to be bad business But, other promoters aren't speaking about Matchroom's possible fights in interviews that they don't think will happen. That's just being messy instead of minding his own business, as well as creating an even larger divide.

Why can't the bidding process solve this problem? The highest bidder gets the fight.

No easy and straightforward answer to this miserable system of this sport.

That would go a long way to improving things for the fighters. Making promoters compete for their services would mean higher purses.

Which is why promoters don't want a system like that in place. They want to control the money for their benefit.

Having only one sanctioning body would also improve things. Which is why promoters don't want it and have instead encouraged the current mess of 4 sanctioning bodies.

He's talking about fights that have been ordered by governing bodies and boxing in general. If anything he seems to be defending them by saying it's business. Promoters talk about each other and other fighters all the time.
