They did what’s called a projected earnings analyst. They told Crawford what they thought he’d earn. And PBC have put on enough PPV’s to give a good educated guess, even with all the piracy out there. They did the same for Spence, who said he was happy with the projected earnings. It’s not like Spences’ money was guaranteed and Crawford’s wasn’t.

Spence is managed by haymon. Spence and the pbc take whatever haymon brings them because they all have the same manager. There is no negotiation between pbc fighters. That's why pbc vs pbc fights are so easy to make. Al controls both fighters. So there's is nobody to negotiate against.

But bud isn't a haymon fighter, therefore he isnt going for the haymon promise of ppv backend hopes

pay the guarantee like everybody else in ppv history

Bud isn’t putting any money up either. He has no risk. He’s going to collect a check. Both sides are going to have to give in order to spend the proper amount of money in marketing and promotion. Remember they were talking about a multi city press tour. Super Bowl ads. It’s not like he’s getting paid chicken scratch. He was going to make a career high payday plus all the future potential fights. They have the undisputed 154 lb champion plus other quality 147/154 lbers. What’s Crawford’s next move? To me it’s short sided to walk away from the Spence fight.

Deontay Wilder is back again, and he is showing signs that? He still wants to face Tyson Fury.

This is the difference between the dynamic of Wilder vs Fury, and Crawford vs Spence Junior.

Deep down, I don't think Crawford or Spence Junior as a match up 'Has the initial passion that Fury vs Wilder had as a rivalry'

That is why a meeting between the two fighters face to face should happen, it is the fighters who are going to fight 'Not promoters or managers'.

Naw, deep down neither can draw flies to sh.t and Tio Al can't sell neither without losing a buttload of money.

Bud, you are going to need to get this fight under your belt than you can relax knowing you got a solid win under belt. You dont want to be chasing names when your 37 year of age. You need to get the win under your belt then the pressure if off. Get paid less than you want if neccasary but after you win you can call shots on any rematches.

I would agree if it wasn't for the no guarantee bull****. That's unheard of for 2 undefeated welterweights going for undisputed. It's an unnecessary obstacle put up by Al. They said he had to leave bob and he did. Al didn't deliver.

I have a feeling that it's still gonna happen in 2023 but it will be with guaranteed money if it does.

You are hanging onto such a lame excuse, it's obvious no matter what happened, Bud would receive way more than his biggest purse and way more than what he is getting for Avansyen. No guaranteed set dollar number for the Spence fight is lame the worst he could do money-wise is what ? 10/15mill with an ordinary to low PPV to 20/30mill with high PPV.

If I were Al I wouldn’t want anything to do with Crawford. But I’m a spiteful bastard but that’s just me.
