Delight of being winner as an underdog is different level. He gotta change his style and return to his pre-Kovalev style. I can see Canelo's potential. Bivol likes money like everyone.

If what you are saying is true then why don't Canelo go back down to his own weight division and fight David Benavidez? I agree that Bivol may not want it if he has to cut down to 168 with a rehydration clause.

Canelo’s time at the top has passed. He is not the best fighter in the world, he is not the “face of boxing”, and I predict that after 2023, he won’t be the biggest draw in the usa anymore. He’s worked himself into a place where people who can beat him are in every direction. He has nowhere to go

Canelo can't beat Bivol, and his camp probably knows this. Canelo probably knows this himself. Canelo is great but too small.

I believe Canelo would rather lose to Bivol than to Charlo, Benavidez, Munguia, or Andrade. It would be easier to say, "I lost to someone bigger than me". It's not so easy to say, "the better man that happens to be my size, beat me".

I'm sorry, but it's time for Canelo to face one of the young lions that his name keeps coming up against.

If he doesn't face one of these lions soon, I'll be all for his named being removed from the P4P List.

I’ll post it again, Bivol easily beat Canelo (crooked scorecards be damned) by having tight defense, great reflexes, excellent conditioning and great control of distance. Any boxing trainer will tell you the way to neutralize these thing is with reach and/or fast feet. Canelo has neither. Bad style matchup, unless Bivol goes downhill at an astronomical rate, Canelo flat out can’t beat him.

Never underestimate the power of juiced scorecards. Just because Canelo gets dominated and outboxed for 12 rounds doesn’t mean he can’t win a decision.

Big chance he'll lose against Benavidez. If he starts losing to the guys everyone said he would lose to, the Cleneloterol dynasty will crumble into ruin, legacy forever tarnished.

Bivol would and could never come down to 68. To be fair, he doesn't have to. Clenny has to move up otherwise it's another cherry-pick manuever. Bivol is already lean at his own weight.

Canelo moved up to try and win the title at light heavyweight from Bivol but how clearly Bivol won leaves no doubt that at the weight Bivol is clearly the better man.He should not and I doubt he will be conned by Hearn into moving down to 168lb for a rematch a weight that Bivol has NEVER done. Hearn is obviously not bothered about a fighters health as proven here and recently but I don't think Bivol will fall for this shameful and dangerous attempt to weaken him from his natural weight.

Bivol said he can make 168 easy!

The Haymonites can cry, but if Floyd did rematches with Castillo, which Ronnie Shields said he was gifted that win, then Canelo gets the chance to redeem himself. Why? Because Canelo helped PBC go bankrupt!
