I expected a better challenge by Ramirez. He looked surprised at how ineffective he was against Bivol, which means his team did a poor job of evaluating Bivol's strengths and vulnerabilities ... and a poor job of strategy and preparation for Ramirez. Did he believe he was so good he could just walk in there and bust up the champ because he wanted to?

Shows a complete lack of respect for Bivol's talents and thus Ramirez paid the price. A whole lot of humility is needed, and a whole lot less talking and bravado. He was gonna get revenge for Canelo just because he was bigger? Really?

I keep hearing Bivol kinda laughing at that press conference and saying, " I don't know why he is so confident". LoL!

PS - I actually thought Ramirez wanted this so bad that he would prepare like never before ... and have a chance. He got me too.

The biggest mistake fighters like Zurdo make is thinking they’re going to knock a guy like Bivol out. They don’t prepare to outbox the guy for 12 rounds, because they don’t want to trust the judges in a close fight. On the other hand, they’re right because if they don’t seriously hurt their opponent, they don’t get the benefit.

Ramirez actually didn`t even try to Ko him. He fought scared. he was in survival mode against a smaller guy. he was pathetic.
