I think they could find a better opponent a month out.

I agree but I don't think they were looking for anyone that was an upgrade of the original opponent and he didn't seem all that impressive (other than a visually gaudy record against dreadful opposition).

Mak vs Akpejori was one of the more interesting fights coming up . I guess Gorman and Wardley still hold the best fight at the end of the year ? The year will basically close out with that and Fury vs Chisora.
