Agreed, 'twas the first thing I said when the fight was made.

very few people in the boxing world are giving cotto a chance...but cotto has been in that situation before as the underdog.
In this fight Cotto is the underdog, but this is probably the first time he has been in practically all of his career except perhaps the Clottey fight because it was his first real challenge after the Dr Doom beating, yet he had the edge to win because Clottey is not a pressure fighter.

Like Pink said, if Manny can take a punch at 147 he's got this fight in the bank. If this was Cotto pre-Margarito then I would give Cotto the edge but his confidence is shattered in my view and Manny despite the size disadvantage will swarm Cotto with punches and will conduct his own pressure, something we all know already Cotto cannot really deal with. I still think this fight will be exciting because Cotto always comes ready and he fights, but Manny is going to be too much for him.

pacquiao has never been hit by a 147 guy. pacquiao also has barely been touch his last 3 fights.

cotto can shock him with the power early.

As long as Cotto keeps throwing the jab early, doesn't do anything wreckless
I can see him stopping him in 9.

cotto was the underdog against mosley and against corley and the venezuelan guy i forgot his name but the point is excatly what you said it will be a great fight, i just dont think manny will be able to deal with cotto's jab and body work.

See I always will point to the Diaz fight, diaz landed on manny a lot to the body specially but diaz lacked the power to make manny change his strategy which is putting pressure and punching the shiet out of his opponents. With cotto he wont be able to do that.

Roach says he welcomes cotto's exchange therefore if this is true these guys are going to come out swinging!!! Hatton tried to do that to manny but cotto is a much better boxer puncher than hatton.

It's not just the power than differs Pacquiao and Marquez, Pacquiao is bigger than Marquez anyway and is amazingly fast. To move up in weight speed is the biggest assest you can have i.e Mayweather, Jones. When Marquez moved up he slowed any speed he did have down, was out muscled and actually SLOWER than the bigger guy he faced.

I watched Mannys fights, with Morales, JMM, Barrera and hatton last night.

And he is the same fighter in all of them, always lowe his fight hand to his waist, when he will throw a straight left. When he throws his left he is always of ballance.

He is always reaching and leaning forward, with his chin in the air.

He is always wild with his punches, and teh mnsot important one, he ner throws a punch, when backing up never.

I beat those guys I mentioned beause could impoose his physicallity on them.

Theres no way, this dude will beat Cotto, no way!!!!!!

I Will bet all my points, on that!!!!!!!
