Im having truouble understanding this p4p logic scheme. JMM challenged floyd cause pac did not want to fight him and i dont question that but lets say pac and JMM werent even p4p and the klitschko Brother's or Roy Jones JR still in his prime were p4p best would you want floyd to move up to heavy weight/Light Heavy weight and fight them.

They bring up anything that happened in the past to keep this fight from happening. So why wouldn't they look for something to happen in the future? I think Mayweather may not have been on the top of Mosley's priority list in the earlier part of the year because of Pacquiao like Jake claims, but why keep pursuing a guy if he won't entertain the thought of fighting you? Mosley tried to get a fight with Floyd after his victory over Collazo, and I want the writer of this article to try to prove me wrong. I like a lot of Jake's pieces though. And at least Mosley was willing to go all the way down to 140 to fight Pacquiao. Mayweather's sorry ass didn't even bother to make weight.

This is for anyone who thinks that Mayweather is ducking Mosley. There has been 3 times in the past few years that it was presented to Mosley about having a showdown with Floyd, and they all have ended the same way. Him refusing with an excuse. The most recent one is when he fought Vargas for the rematch, and it was set up through HBO, for him & Mayweather to fight in the next few months, and his excuse was that he needed to take some time off to go on vacation with his family & he needs to get his teeth looked at by a dentist. Come on now. Training camp is approximately 8-12 weeks, & he could have saw a dentist that following Monday. That was an excuse. Maybe he shouldn't have had his ex-wife Jin manage his career, and then he wouldn't be searching for a big payday at the end of his career. Mosley & Cotto, have given reasons in the past few years why they couldn't fight Floyd, you can actually see the excuses here at Boxingscene.com in the video archives.

If Floyd fights either one of them, it will be a competitive fight either way but Floyd has more speed, & skill to beat them both.

It ain't about duckin no more its who holds the Welterweigth title of the world and that is Shane MOSLEY. Fight him and win and you own the title.
