Can Floyd Be Surpassed As The PPV GOAT

Modern boxing doesn’t have the talent pool for anyone to trump SRR as the GOAT

what about surpassing Floyd as the PPV GOAT

ppv is tough, seems to be a lot of very good boxers and they can barely scratch ppv sales, floyd pac oscar, maybe a next gen oscar somehow could do it if he was really good, tank is ppv and he doesnt fight top guys, so its confusing stuff really, boots maybe?

I won’t happen anytime soon. Floyd had Oscar to make him into a PPV star. It usually takes a star to make a star in boxing. Oscar had Chavez for example. Even Canelo had Floyd and despite losing it certainly raised his profile massively.

Not in this era of easy access to illegally stream fights and boxers being reluctant to build themselves up as most of them are too afraid to lose their precious "0"s and just wait on that big payday.

Jaron beating Errol impressively would be a start

Errol has been better marketed than Terence

Bivol with his calm Russian soul

When he beat Alvarez was around the same age Floyd was when he beat Oscar

          but Americans love outrageous characters

Benavidez if he beats Alvarez thoroughly could get some of that stardom

I’m not sure he ever fights either of them sadly.

Bivol lacks the star power. Benavidez would have more potential as a superstar but doesn’t have the ability inside the ring that Bivol does.

Win enough important fights and have a fan friendly style like Cotto

Guy’s been hellbent on killing boxing since his retirement so nothing can really happen till him & Haymon leaves the sport.

Canelo doesn't agree with you who did beat Bivol/Beterbiev and now waiting for Usyk in a parallel universe.
