There are obviously weight divisions for a reason but 5 lbs isn't a big difference in the fight. Loma is at the level of Mayweather, Leonard, Whitaker, Arguello and other greats in terms of boxing ability. at 34, Loma is still young enough to get himself in great shape and beat Haney. Whether he can do it is a different story.

Garcia needs to shut up, fight contenders and work his way up to the top by boxing and not talking or having millions of YouTube followers and wait his place in line.
When has Loma ever become an undisputed champion, of which division?

He's a great fighter but very small at the weight , I saw him next to Haney recently in the ring after the Kambosos fight and even he said 'are you a heavyweight' to Haney .

Who ever wins does not matter. Just enjoy the fight.

Loma has that small man complex and that false pride has not served him especially well. He should have said "no fight" to grossly overweight Salido and he should have stayed put at 130.

People need to give Jamaine Ortiz more respect too. I bet Garcia won't fight him either. He's going to keep using Tank as an excuse to duck Ortiz, Pitbull, and especially all the big names. He's looking more and more like a lightweight Jake Paul, IMO.
Loma wasn't injured for the Lopez fight. Just accept he lost fairly.

i dont think hes too small, moving up is tough, broner was great at the lower weights too, it can fall apart if u fight the wrong guy at the higher weight classes if u started low i think, less room for errors, i think haney is a good fight for loma actually

The excuses are pouring in now that he was made to look regular by a guy fighting in his first 12 round fight. He asked to face the best in the division, and now that he's lost to one, more than likely going to lose to Haney, all of the pre-fight excuses, just in case he gets beat. He's too small, he's aging fast, etc........yeah, yeah, just lace them up the same way as when he was receiving all the praise and credit.

Whose excuse? It's not like Loma said. And, actually, even if he did, he'd be right - he is one of the smallest in this division. Still, one of the most talented.

Boxing fans: he should stay in his weight class, he's too small to go up
Also boxing fans: he stayed in his weight class and never challenged himself.

This isn't news, Lomachenko debuted at featherweight but due to his very impressive skills dominated fighters who belonged at light welterweight in Linares, Pedraza, Campbell, Nakatani and Commey while losing to Teo in a competitive bout in the second half of their fight.

Now that he is near the age of retirement at the lower weight classes of course he will struggle to physically compete at the elite level in a division he doesn't even belong in, If Jorge Linares caught him in his prime, perhaps even Ryan Garcia could knock him out at this point of his career.
