Yes...we do. Marquez juiced to the gills and lucky shotted Pacman into another realm. Are you saying thats what Canelo will do for a Bivol rematch?

McGregor? I never counted or considered that as a real fight. That was more of an exhibition than a real fight. That's the only instance where someone fights a UFC guy and tries to play it off as a real fight. Not in my book. I think Jake Paul has exposed that side show for what it actually is, an exhibition against guys who don't really know a thing about the sport of boxing, even if they think they do.

But that's the point I was making about Floyd. He never fought anyone where he was at a physical disadvantage. Being taller doesn't mean bigger. Floyd does have a long arm reach. I think Boxrec has him at 72", which for 5'8" is long, but it just goes to show that it's about body frame on not height. There's a guy that is smaller than me, but his body frame is massive. Even though I'm taller, he's definitely "bigger." You know what I mean? He can leg press nearly twice as much as I can, so height isn't the real "tell" on body size. Bone girth, which is broad shoulders, wide wrists, things like that. Floyd never fought anyone where he was physically at a disadvantage.

Almost every boxer that Floyd is accused of ducking (and probably rightfully so) had a size advantage over him. Paul Williams is a perfect example of this. Floyd would selectively chose boxers that wouldn't have that reach advantage because he knew it would prove too difficult for him to overcome. Boxers with a strength advantage like Kosta Tszyu or a reach advantage like Paul Williams were selectively excluded from Mayweather's matchups.

You can go through Floyd's record and see everyone he fought never had any physical advantage over him.

That is why people must give Alvarez credit for wanting to rematch Bivol etc.

Golovkin is a straight forward fight for Alvarez technically, a very tough match up 'But tactically he knows how to fight Golovkin'.
Zero credit for saying you want to do something.

Canelo bamboozled the public with his wins over Golovkin. He clearly lost the first fight, and though he came close to winning the second, he still lost it in the eyes of the vast majority of viewers and pundits. Then he avoids the trilogy for four years .... because we all know that he took a beating in that fight from Golovkin. Now we see Canelo's fighting age because Golovkin took off some years from Canelo's career. I give Canelo credit for fighting Golovkin, but the only reason why he fought him the first time was due to being shamed into the fight, and then the second time he started his PED use to gain an edge in the ring.

Stylistically, Golovkin and Canelo match up well. Pressure fighter versus counterpuncher. But I don't give too much credit to Canleo in his Golovkin fights.

            On further thought

perhaps it was Marquez who improved against his stylistic nightmare in manny

Marquez went from nearly being ko’d in their first round together

to cracking the manny code 24 rounds later

            fights 3 & 4 were Marquez
