“Run, clinch and hide” is an old trope about Floyd’s style but let’s have a look at the two GOATs, Ali and SRL.

Watch SRL vs Duran 2, also all of SRL fights at higher weight.
Same case with Ali. Watch his fights after 32 years old including Foreman.

They’d be both “running, clinching and hiding” according to you.

Also, watch Oscar vs Tito, Hopkins and even Vargas (many moments), he was “running, clinching and hiding”.

Floyd is a superior boxer to PAC. And head to head beat him. How did Marquez vaporize PAC?

Don't try to pull anybody else into this.

The truth is as a pro Floyd ran clinched and hid behind the ref so bad his pops told him straight up he was fighting scared.

After that jig was up it was on to cherrypicking guys who had large followings, but posed a 10% risk or less so Floyd could look good again.

Its not hard to figure out.

      Insert Floyd excuses here:

The only people that begged for a Floyd-PAC rematch are delusional PAC fans. Their guy got beat. Plain and simple.
You seem to value points and adulation while writing anonymously on social media.
Wrong Again! I'm as big a Floyd fan as I am a Pacquiao fan, if not slightly bigger. I'm a fan of boxing, period, and gave Pacquiao the benefit of the doubt.

Knowing what I've seen in Floyd's fights as well as what I've seen in Pacquiao's fights leading to their first match gave me the impression that if they both claimed healthy, that they could deliver a good fight the second time around.

I rather had watched them fight again, than to witness Floyd in a mismatch against Andre Berto.

This is the part where I address blind or toxic hatred. Have you watched SRL vs Duran 2?
          SRL “ran” the whole fight.

Humor me. Watch the fight (link below). SRL is fighting just like Floyd. Hoist watch the 1st round only.

If you’re ok with that performance and think STL is a GOAT, then only toxic hate makes you critical of Floyd.

As for cherry-picking, that’s another trope we are used to. You’d mention guys like Oscar and Mosley from 2000-2005. These guys were fighting at 147 while Floyd was at 130.
That’s like saying Tank or Shakur are ducking Crawford and Bud today. It’s pure nonsense.

No boxing purist would justify a Berto fight. Just like no boxing fan would justify PAC fighting Rios, Broner, Margarito, Mathysse, Mosley etc especially when they were all coming off losses.
Can you imagine if Floyd fought those guys coming off losses?

The shoulder injury is no different from the calve injury PAC pulled after getting beat by Ugas or the “lucky punch” from Marquez.

I haven’t read the entire thread but did anyone post the marks on Floyd’s face after the fight? A kid who lost to basically everyone he ever fought marked Floyd up.

You must really have it in for Pacquiao. Did he take your girl or something smh/lol.

Pacquiao, despite being caught up in a cloud of performance enhancing drug allegations, had a very successful boxing career. Worthy of the HOF.

Truth be told, as much as he's dodged the allegations, I've suspected Floyd was a little dirty himself.... Especially during the times he "retired" - a perfect time to reload a body with fuel.

Im 70 and if a guy wants to put his hands behind his back while looking and talking to people on the side, Im going to sc**** him with something.

Your point is so narrow-minded if you care to think deeper than the surface.

Why do people resort to personal attacks when their opinions get checked?
I do like PAC but I call BS on his sham opponents I listed. It’s no different from calling out Floyd’s fight with Berto or Crawford’s fight with Avanesyan or Fury’s fight with Chisora.
It just so happens that PAC’s resume at 147 is loaded with nondescript guys.

And I agree with you that PAC is def HoF guy. Some think he’s an ATG.
