Floyd keeps doing exhibitions because international fans appreciate what he is.

I was watching the Don Moore exhibition. That's actually a friend of Floyd's, yet the moment TBE got hit, he proceeded to beat the hell out of him.

    But that's not it.

This is a 40+ year old man, and despite a pretty high workrate, was standing in between rounds, he was dancing, he's holding up the ring card, and a hallmark of his for years: talking to the commentators during the fight.

It means he's not only aware of exactly where he is at any given moment, but it's incredible that he can hear them so clearly. I believe it was the Guerrero fight where he actually even corrected Jim Lampley on something.

Which means he's thinking about other things while clearly comfortable in the ring with someone who is trying to hurt him.

You take guys like Joshua who are constantly worried about getting knocked out, tense and on edge, then they take an L and mentally shatter.

It's sad that America rejected Floyd, a guy who represented America in the Olympics and continued to entertain while beating everyone he said he would. But it's good to see international fans, the real ones left, flock to see him do his thing; it's obvious what a real star is when a Mayweather exhibition draws more money than 10 of Crawford's fights.

This is a boxing website not a screenplay forum for romantic fan fiction

In other words, why don't Floyd get no respect. Well its simple.

Had he beat all the best guys on his resume in their prime, he wouldn't get shi'ted on so frequently.

Tell me a fighter that beat ALL the best guys in their resume in their prime. It’s probably logistically impossible.

Also, Floyd was out of his prime when he beat some of his best opponents, but people don’t mention that part.

Floyd should keep doing these because well it’s free money and we’d all do it at the drop of a dime. However, he’s gonna become a meme eventually if he gets dropped or knocked out or something one day. Not that it will happen but you know, **** happens sometimes and people have been waiting forever for him to have a moment like that.

american fans made floyd what he is, they bought his shows many many times, cant expect the show to go on forever with a bit of ring antics, his fans are still his fans but wont pay for certain things like show fights v unknown geeky dudes etc
