I used to like the benevidez camp but this is nonsense. Sr is begging for a payday and it’s embarrassing. David benevidez represents nothing lol. Canelo is much closer to SRR than people think. Some fighters boost their opponents' legacy from boogeyman department. Benavidez is that type fighter. Today or tomorrow, he'd boost Canelo's legacy.

True, nel o is only a couple or so signature wins away from SRR.
But benevide z is high risk, low reward. If Nelo beats him, it's a win people can downplay, but if benavidez were to win, which is possible, it would be a case of we told you nel o was overated?

Sadly those signature wins are Bivol and Beterbiev which are very tough tasks. If he did beat them and become undisputed at 175, he would have been arguably GOAT and solid top 3 ATG. Canelo still has a chance tho. He can fight winner of Bivol vs Beterbiev as a challenger.

Canelo has other legacy fights too. He can fight Bivol at 168 but that wouldn't be at the same level with a victory at LHW. Still'd boost his legacy because he would risk his all belts. You think people can underestimate Benavidez but every Canelo hater j€rking off for him. No one can underestimate that win. Benavidez would boost his legacy. He can return to 160 and become undisputed by beating Janibek and Charlo. That would boost his legacy. But, none of them would make him the GOAT except LHW journey.
